Looking for truth in absurdity: Humour as community-building and dissidence against authoritarianism

چکیده

What makes humour an honest and a direct communication tool for people? How do social networking digital media transmit user-generated political humorous content? Our research argues that the way in which is deployed through during protest action allows protestors to assert humanity sincerity against dehumanising manipulation frameworks. Humorous content, this extent, enables indicative of independent thinking creativity. It causes contemplation, confronts hegemonic power oppressor, challenges fear apathy. In order conduct research, we collected analysed tweets shared Gezi Park protests. Park? was chosen as keyword since it unstructured neutral term. Among millions visual images protests, concentrate on those depict both photography video formats.
